Description: Mast Rake It is convenient to place the mast rake so the helm is well balacnced. With light wind the boat should have tendency to thead up or have a small amount of weather helm, and with high wind we should make sure the helm is well balanced Cunningham It is very important with the TR-1 to sail without tension on the luff in low wind conditions (with tension on the stop tie); if we do not do that we would loose pointing angle and ability. In high wind conditions we can loosen the cunningham tie to move the camber or depth of the sail forward and open leech of the sail. Sheet Tension As with the radial sail, you can pull sheet until the boom is around 4-7 cm inside th ecull corner in order to achieve more pointing angle. Please remember that you have to loosen the sheet when the boat is going to stop and pull when the boat has speed again.
