Description: Very popular among one designs and dinghies. Prestretching and 8 plait construction yields a good, low stretch rope that is easy to handle. Look for us to recommend this line as control lines, spinnaker halyards, and other uses where a bright color makes identification easy. 8 plait design is not spliceable. All polyester makes this rope very abrasion resistant. Other notes: Not spliceable, runs well. Description: Excel Pro By Marlow Man are you confused, Excel Racing, Excel Pro, Excel Marstron...? Well don't be, these lines are worth a hard look. Excel Pro is 100% Polyester with a parallel core. Check out all the sizes and colors it comes in. The little sizes are good lashing items the larger sizes are at home as sheets and control lines on dinghys and small keel boats. The cover is smooth 16 plait that really flys over blocks. Sorry, Red not available in 5/64 and 1/8 Ep14.... We were very impressed with this line in our first year selling it. It has a good feel, and very nice size selection. We sold a ton of it for Opti sailors and Junior programs. The 1/12 diameter works great as netting on the foredeck to keep the sails on board.
