| C22 Jib Halyard |
|
Description:
For the jib halyard we choose something that has very little stretch. We noticed that everyone sailing has scallops in the leading edge of the jib and we prefered to sail with a bit more tension to get rid of those scallops. Admiral Dyneema 1/4" works great with very little stretch. We use 60ft and run it back to the top of the cabin top and cleat it with a Harken 150. The options you can do with this halyard is to taper it back for less weight. The trade off is you will loose the UV protection. We did choose to taper our halyard but the wear and tear on the exposed core is not worth the weight savings.
Included with this halyard
60 Feet Finished Lenght
1 Reeving Splice
1 Wichard Halyard Shackle
1 Eye Splice
