Moistureguard 2000, a heavy duty 900D polyester with a polyurethane membrane, has excellent breathability and is fairly water-resistant. The polyurethane membrane of this material has microscopic pores, which enable vapour to pass to the outside and stop water from getting in. The Optiparts topcover is tinted so that spars can be stored inside the boat. Wide skirts around the edge of the hull offer good protection.
